Hint: For answering this question we must understand the rotation and revolution of the earth also that whatever the phenomenon observed in our day to day life it is because of earth motion. So, one must know what is revolution, rotation and how they are associated with earth motion.
Complete answer:
Earth motion is responsible for a lot of daily natural phenomena such as day and night, seasons, natural disasters like tsunami, tornados, etc.
Let us understand how each of these occurs one by one.
1. Day and night: When the earth spins it causes day to turn into night and night into day. If there is no movement we would not be able to be aware of such day and night concepts in our lifetime.
2. Climate change: When the earth revolves it occurs to have change in seasons like summer turns into winter over a period of time of 4 to 6 months and vice/versa. If there is no such revolution introduced we won’t be able to take a look at winter or summer
3. Wind currents: There is a very common phenomenon that we all have come across that can be called a natural disaster like tsunami and tornado. This also occurs due to spinning of the earth which is very fast but we do not feel that spinning sometimes the earth’s spin and wind current becomes relative and this causes tornadoes or tsunamis.
Note: Motion of the earth is one of the important part of our lives. At the same time motion of moon around the earth is also important, the moon is also rotating around the earth exactly as fast as it orbits the Earth, thus, we only see one side of the moon at a time.
